St. Patrick’s Day Karaoke and Dance Party
March 15, 2020

The Robson Community finds itself in luck, as once again the Robson Ranch Music Club is sponsoring the St. Patrick’s Day Karaoke and Dance Party on March 13, 7 to 11 p.m. This is the perfect time to welcome in spring by coming out in your green after the dreary winter and partying with friends and neighbors. After all, the holiday started here in the states in 1737 and once the church decided to lift Lenten restrictions in the 1900s the rest of the world joined in. The Irish celebrate St. Patrick and his devotion to the Trinity. He chose to use the shamrock to demonstrate the Trinity’s three parts. Since the clover has three leaves, they symbolize love, hope, and faith. The Irish say, “if you are lucky enough to be Irish you are lucky enough” but you need not be Irish to join in the celebration. Having the chance to get together and enjoy good friends makes us all lucky. On St. Patrick’s Day, we can all be Irish.
Come join in the Shenanigans, throw back a “swalley” or two and have a “hooley” of a time.
A saying goes that “on the 8th day, God said what a boring bunch these humans are, let there be fun and laughter in the world”, so he created the Irish.
Let’s party like we all are all Irish.
Wear your green, your dancing shoes, and dust off those vocal cords because DJ Bill Cody will be providing the music.
You will have your chance to sing all your favorite Irish tunes like, ”O Danny Boy”, “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling”, and “My Wild Irish Rose”.
The Wildhorse Grill will be selling corn beef sliders for $3 and there will also be free popcorn as well as a cash bar.
All to keep everyone’s Irish eyes a smiling!
Tickets are $10 per person and on sale in the lobby of the clubhouse on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 to 11 a.m. through March 13, the day of the event. Tickets also will be available at the door.
Questions? Call Creeda at 940-262-0469.
Don’t dodder; get your tickets to one of the best parties of the year!
In the meantime, “As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction.”
