Robson Ranch Community Choir is Warming Up
September 15, 2021
Frances Hackley, Publicity Chair
While we are all looking forward to cooling down, the Robson Ranch Community Choir is warming up! Warming up by way of rehearsals, that is.
The choir begins rehearsals Sept. 13, for their last two concerts of the year.
First is the Veterans Day Concert on Nov. 11, one performance at 11 a.m., and then again at 7 p.m.
It’s always a favorite concert of both the choir and the community—with nearly 600 veterans here at the Ranch, it’s no wonder. Not being able to do the concert last year was just heartbreaking to so many.
If you just moved here and have not had a chance to enjoy this concert, make sure you don’t miss it!
Also, if for some reason you have missed it in the past, don’t miss it again!
The concert is patriotic, spiritual, heartwarming, uplifting, and just plain amazing.
Your heart will be pumping out of your chest with American pride!
Then just a few short weeks later is the last concert of the year.
The Christmas at the Ranch Concert brings Christmas joy to the Ranch.
Dates for this concert are Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 19 at 4 p.m.
This concert will give you the warm fuzzies with familiar songs of the season.
Joyful songs that will remind us of the reason for the season, as well as some favorite fun Christmas tunes that will surely get you in the Christmas mood. Our singers are very excited to get back to warming up the cords despite the outside temperatures.
The club would like to also welcome our new members Jim Adelman, Michelle Boscoe,
Rosie Bouse, Jennifer Higgins, Betsy Schuermann, and Danise Sharp.
Other events to watch for from the Music Club are
our Oct. 29 Scaryoke Dance and the New Year’s Eve Dinner/Dance on Dec. 31.
The Scaryoke Dance is one of Robson’s favorites.Hopefully you are already working on your costumes.
Folks here are none too shy about pulling out all the stops with wild and crazy costumes.
Don’t worry, still come even if you don’t want to costume out.
You will enjoy the show and the dance just the same!
Coming very soon is North Texas Giving Day on Sept. 23.
The Music Club is a 501(c)(3) organization and relies and survives solely on ticket sales and donations.
